# Field Management

> Override global field settings for an individual source, including value-based lead rejection.

> **Note:** This tab is available in **Custom Source (CS)**, **Marketing Partner (MP)**, and **Media Channel (MC)** source types.

The **Field Management** tab allows you to manage lead field configurations for an individual traffic source.

While it mirrors the structure and logic of the **Global Field Management** section at the campaign level, any settings here will **only apply to this specific source**.

### Key Notes

* **Enable/Disable Fields**\
  Control which fields are displayed or hidden in the posting specs for sources.

* **Values Rejection** can be enabled per field.
  * By default, all values for a field are accepted.
  * If this feature is enabled, you can define a list of acceptable values — similar to an **ENUM** constraint.
  * Example: For a field like `consent`, you may allow only `yes` or `no`.
  * Any incoming lead with a field value outside the defined list will be rejected.

* **Set Required or Optional Fields**\
  Mark fields as either required (mandatory for submission) or optional, depending on campaign needs.

* **Apply Data Type Validations**\
  Define validations on fields to ensure the correct data types (e.g., string, integer, date format) are submitted.

* Unlike the global view, this tab **does not include** the following actions:
  * **Apply Changes to All Sources**
  * **Edit Field Descriptions**

This is especially useful when you need to inspect or debug field handling for a single traffic source without affecting others.
